Hire n Fire Group Pty Ltd, is a training company. We have been in operation since 2004 and are based in Mackay , Queensland. We predominately service the Mackay and coalfields regions, however are in a position to travel to any region in Australia or internationally as required.
It is our mission to provide an enhanced training experience, that fulfils Australian national standards in all workplaces we educate in.
Working for more than 40+ years in the mining industry, Dave Wotten, owner and principal trainer of the Hire n Fire Group has travelled around the world using his extensive experience in fire and safety on coal mine sites. Dave is to this day involved with Queensland Mines Rescue and has travelled putting out underground mine fires in Australia, USA, South Africa and the Arctic Circle. Dave has also had experience in the transport industry and has worked in quarries and opal mining.
Using a variety of RTO’s (go to Our Partners) we are able to deliver a wide range of training products. Our RTO partners include, Queensland Training and Development (RTO Code 32238), Allmyne Consulting and Training Services Pty Ltd, (RTO Code 31773) and Spectraining (RTO Code 31791). By having third party agreements with these organisations we are able to deliver nationally recognised training, to all workplaces.
We provide hands on training with practical simulations. We educate from trainees up to high level management. We pride ourselves on a “minimal power point training” methodology, allowing us to give more practical input into all sessions.
